Or is it just that I didn't have any to start with? Because I love this color, and it could be my next truck. Black Gold Pearl on a Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4.

Just sold a white 3500 with 70k miles. Not a truck fan, but the interior was top notch

That's an awful lot of truck, I hope you use it to the fullest. A Cummins is a terrible thing to waste.

I see you'd rather be cummin than strokin!

Get a dually. You hardly need that behemoth of a truck, so just go bigger while you're at it.

I'm going to be planning to upgrade to an enclosed trailer to haul the car around, and a 20 year old F-150 is probably not going to be up to snuff all the time.

Dually isn't required until I decide to get a gooseneck or fifth wheel car hauler.

True, a 20 year old F150 isn't going to pull anything as well as a new Ram 2500. This thing is overkill for a <15,000 lb trailer. Sweet, sweet overkill.

There are other considerations. One being that the diesel is exempt from emissions in Georgia, and the other being that while the F150 *can* tow it, it's not exactly nice to have to do over 200 miles from home. The trip down to the track the last time is tipping me that direction.

Plus it's better to have more truck than you need, than need more truck than you have.
